A Joint Operation, code named Gotham Shield is scheduled for Apr. 24 & 25. The premise of this simulated crisis will be the detonation of a 10,000-ton nuclear device in the air over New Jersey.
The electromagnetic pulse (EMP) caused by the detonation of this device will cause the disabling of most telephone, internet, and other electronic devices in a 20 kilometer radius around the detonation site.
Operation Gotham Shield is a joint exercise with the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES), Military Auxiliary Radio Service (MARS), Department of Defense (Dod), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Red Cross in NY & NJ. MARS is headquartered at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and assigned to the Headquarters, United States Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).

A strange and alarming message came today from our source from New York. An insider from the Trump Towers Service said that the Trump Tower is closing on April 23th.
By the evening of this day, everyone should leave the skyscraper.
This applies to residents and staff. Yesterday, the Tower administration informed everyone who has anything to do with the skyscraper that the Trump Towers is closed for three days.
The reason is not called. It’s just that people are put before a fact.

In gewisser Weise kann die Frage im Titel bereits heute und bestimmt mit Ja beantwortet werden. Warum? Einfach, weil für den 11. September 2001 ebenfalls zahlreiche Übungen angesagt und am Laufen waren, zumindest im Luftraum um und über NYC.
Bereits am Laufen ist nun eine sog. "Operation Gotham Shield 2017"-Übung, die ihren Höhepunkt morgen Montag, 24. und Dienstag 25. April haben soll. Sie soll die Detonation einer nuklearen 10-Kilotonnen-Bombe simulieren und alle möglichen Evakuierungs- und Rettungsaktionen beüben. Zahlreiche "Agenturen" und "Dienste" seien zur Übung aufgeboten.
Interessant ist nun, dass (wenn die Medien überhaupt darüber berichten) im Vorfeld die Rede von Übung und Simulation die Rede ist.
Angenommen, die Übung würde dazu benutzt werden, eine sog. "False-Flag" einzubauen, so hätten die Medien im Nachgang auf jeden Fall die (theoretische und praktische) Möglichkeit, das Ereignis als tatsächlich stattgefundene "Terror-Attacke" zu bezeichnen.
Weltweit würde das Ereignis für die medienkonsumierenden Massen als "Angriff auf die westliche Welt" gedeutet werden müssen.
Wenn wir in der philosophischen Denke Baudrillards bleiben, so wäre es denkbar, dass ein solches Ereignis im Vorfeld wahrheitsgemäss als "Übung" und "Simulation" auf den Plan tritt, je nachdem, welche WIRKlichkeit uns die Medien dann (emotional natürlich!) übermitteln werden, wäre der "False-Flag" selber die Simulation, denn er hätte in WAHRheit gar nicht stattgefunden, sondern er wäre nur vorgetäuscht worden.
Warum dann diese ganze "Simulation" (hier den Begriff auf einer Metaebene zu verstehen!) ein zunächst korrekt als Simulation (Übung) bezeichnetes Ereignis als "wahrer Terroranschlag" vorzutäuschen, zu simulieren...?
Vielleicht ganz einfach um Politik zu machen?!
Der Mirror hat als erste Zeitung ein eingängiges Narrativ vorbereitet:

Falls also etwas Mediales WIRKlich passiert (es medial transportiert wird), heisst es a) noch nicht automatisch, dass es in WAHRheit so gewesen wäre, und b), dass der beschuldigte Schuldige WAHRhaftig daran überhaupt schuld wäre.
Doch all diese Überlegungen würden für die emotional aufgepeitschte Masse keine Rolle mehr spielen, alle denkbaren Retorsionsmassnahmen gegen den (definierten) Schuldigen würden psychologisch geschluckt und widerstandslos (ohne nachdenken zu können/wollen) akzeptiert werden.
Solche Ereignisse könnten also vor allem eines bedeuten: Jemand braucht freie Hand, um seine Politik (Absichten) umsetzen zu können, und dabei die "public opinion" hinter sich zu wissen.
